Fettucini Alfredo is one of the easiest romantic recipes for two. Everyone is always super impressed when I make this dish. I, myself was very surprised the first time I made this at how incredibly easy it was. You can add anything you like to it too. This recipe is pretty much just a basic version, but you can enjoy it plain or add stuff to make it even better. Sometimes I just skip the shrimp and add chicken or even sundried tomatoes. This is one of my favorite recipes for Romantic Dinner. My boyfriend looooves this recipe and I would say it’s definitely one of his favorites. I think one of the main reasons he fell in love with me was my cooking. Obviously this is not a kosher recipe. But you could make it one. Omit the shrimp and meat. The challenge would be to find a Kosher reggiano cheese. If you couldn’t find it, you might still be able to just use kosher parmesan. It might not taste exactly the same, but it should still be excellent. This is probably the easiest and most elegant romantic dinner recipe. The best part about this recipe is that it is perfect for a romantic dinner for two, but can also be used to serve the entire family
You will need:
- 1 package Fettucini. Cook according to package directions.
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 stick of butter
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 1/2 cups parmigiano reggiano cheese grated finely
Instructions:
- Cook your pasta according to the directions. Set aside.
- Mince garlic. Put butter into saucepan cooking on very low heat. Melt butter down completely. Add garlic to butter.
- Once completely melted, add heavy cream and stir.
- Add small amounts of grated reggiano cheese. Stir the entire time until completely melted together. The mixture will be a little thin, but will thicken as it cools down.
- Pour over your pasta and stir together.
- At this point you can add whatever you would like. Shrimp, chicken, or sundried tomatoes all make excellent additions.
