I invented this creamy spinach pasta recipe recently and was really surprised at how good it was. I decided to try kosher non-dairy creamer in a recipe and it was surprisingly g0od. I’m definitely going to try out some more recipes using non-dairy creamer. I was making chicken and pasta and wanted a creamy sauce to serve with it. Obviously I couldn’t use any real dairy to make a cream sauce. You can easily make this dish without chicken if you need a parve recipe to serve. The next recipe I’m going to try out is this really good creamy meatball stew. I hope you like this recipe.
Ingredients:
1 package of frozen chopped spinach
1 medium onion, finely chopped
3 cloves minced garlic
1 cup of non-dairy creamer
2 cups of water
2 tablespoons parve soup stock ( I use Consomme found at Walmart)
Saute onions and garlic in a little olive oil. Add frozen spinach and heat until no longer frozen. In a small saucepan add non-dairy creamer, water, and soup stock, heat on low until well mixed. Add to pan with spinach. Cook for about 20 minutes and serve. This recipe is super easy and very tasty. Add salt depending on taste. I evaluate how much salt to add at the very end because spinach seems to absorb lots of flavor. I often have to add way more salt than I anticipated. This is such a great and easy parve recipe. Add chicken if you would like or serve with fish.
